Plasma: 42XT50 Vs 43E490

Hi All,

In 42" range plasma for HD ready with 3 D content and below 50k I found two brands 42XT50 and 43E490:

42XT50 :
3 Years Warranty + HT + One 3D glass
Price Range: 48-51K

43E490 :
1 Year warannty + BD Player + Two 3D glass + One Shrek BD.
Price Range: 47-50K

I felt it would be good if we can discuss pros/cons of these models from various perspective.

I am also looking out for place where these 2 models can be viewed side by side however couldn't come across any. Please inform if you have seen them somewhere in Hyderabad.

I am also planning to buy some TV in this range. As this is not Full HD, I am bit confused and tends to bend towards some LED.

I am using this TV and can vouch for the stunning display quality. At the price that you have quoted this is the best deal that you can think of and I would strongly recommend that you go in for it. I hope that this price is inclusive of the 3D glasses. I had got my TV from Thailand and got 4 glasses free alongside.

Both these models are available at TMC Begumpet. You can see them in 42 and 50 inches.

And the cost of 42E490 is 43k with free stuff both in TMC and Samsung plasa opp cyber towers.

The 50" D490 with 2 glasses is available at croma jubilee hills for 49k (neg) with bluray titles. This is 2011 model with real 1280 * 720 (actual 720p) resilution.

If you can negotiate it to around 45k, nothing like it. If you are looking for 50" that is.
