Hi,
I am new to this forum, so greetings.

Firstly I am a student so my budget is limited. I compose music and play guitar using software & my laptop. First I thought i would go for a pair of active speakers, as in studio monitors. But i have an old pair of sonodyne book-shelf speakers lying unused for a long time. They are really good but i have to get them repaired, so it makes sense that i use them, isn't it?

So the question is, what do i need to buy now within moderate budget?
Integrated amp, or a separate USB DAC and then amp or what?
I also need suggestions for the brand & model of whatever recommended product that you suggest.

I also have a Native Instruments Guitar Rig audio interface. I use it default for playing audio also bypassing the inbuilt laptop audio and there is a marked improvement in playback quality. I need it integrated into the setup as i have to use that to connect my guitar to my laptop.

I would be using the setup for everything. Music, movies, but most importantly recording and playing my guitar at home (don't have the budget to buy a good guitar tube amp yet).

what do you recommend?

thanks
peace
