Hi,
I'm new here and also to the world of FHD tvs.
After looking around and checking reviews I have arrived at VU 43 FHD 43D6575 and Sanyo FHD XT-43S7100F, both of which suit my budget.
What I'd like to do is additionally buy an Android box featuring the Amlogic S912 Octa Core processor with Android 6 and 2gb ram. I see all this fitting within about 30k or so.

I request you knowledgeable people to make your valuable inputs on the two tv models...or something else which you may have experience of.
Thanks in advance.

Go for VU. I own a VU 40" TV; I have been using it for 12 months. Got it last year at 19990/- and bought 2years additional warranty at 2600/-
Recently, bought 49" Sanyo TV from Amazon. First, they delivered a broken piece, then it was replaced with a new piece and that new piece died within 2 weeks. Raised request for refund. Just yesterday, it's picked up. Sanyo is now a Panasonic brand, I thought, It would be far better than VU; in reality it's not. Packaging was of worst possible quality. Wall mounting bracket was fragile. Pictures quality is not vibrant. Cheap plastic material. Only, user interface is good and it comes with detachable power cord.

Thanks a lot for looking in here. Shall certainly pay heed to your advice.
How's the performance generally on your VU 40? Is it smart or the FHD model? There've been lots of complaints on the hissing issue out of the headphone out which I've been reading about. Spoke to the local VU office today and they say it's been sorted out lately.
Thanks again.

Performance is great in terms of cost to performance ratio. Yes, you are right about 'hissing sound' on VU TVs but that has been taken care of.Mine is a non smart FHD model. Overall, I am very satisfied with it. I am waiting for refund from Amazon. This time I would go for VU 50". There has been a buzz that this year Flipkart's BBD sale starts on the very first week of the October. So, one suggestion, if you wish to have greater deals and wish to save few extras bucks, wait till BBD Sale.

Thanks, I'll just go with VU 43 then. Thanks too for the headsup on the BBD sale at Flipkart, and yes I'll bide my time for some savings. There's an old 30 inch Philips crt in service for now.

BTW, bought this Android box at a pre-sale last night. Got it for $45. Now the sale has ended and it's priced at 80. Some great reviews of it's predecessor on youtube. Have a look if you like:

Sanyo is a brand owned by Panasonic. Sanyo is almost non-existent brand globally. Brands like, Micromax, VU are ruling the budget segment in India. Presumably, in order to counter the onslaught of these budget brands, Panasonic has launched few budget LED models under the guise of SANYO. This Sanyo is not even a distant relative of Japanese Sanyo. Poor plastic, poor picture quality. Even packaging material and wall-mounting brackets are of worst quality. Present-day Sanyo, that is available in India(via Amazon.in) just brings shame and disgrace on a great brand Sanyo.
