Please suggest good 21" CRT TV

Hello guys need a good CRT flat panel TV @21" for my parents. please suggest brand, price and shop in Chennai. Budget is 8k. 27" also welcome if price difference between 21 and 27 is negligble...

BTW Is it worth to invest in a CRT tv now ?. Will it have HDMI function ?.

i don't think too many manufacturers make hide crt tvs, especially in india...
hence, there will be no hdmi input.
id suggest you go to a shop and buy whicheverr tv you think looks the best. thats always the best way to go.

if your parents don't watch any hd content, a cry tv would be best for them, both economically, and pq wise.

if u r looking crt tv's,...better avoid the slim-line ones!...btw, i would opine that a 26"-32" lcd tv would have been more suitable for ur parents!...if u r stressed of budget, should go the nearest grey mkt. available & chk out the going rates for the current crop of lcd tv's!

few crt were capable of displaying 720p however the number was very less.

you can certainly go for a CRT if you want but i believe that CRT is already on EOL.

i would suggest you to go for lcd tv .. that will consume less space and can be wal mounted easily.

@indiglo - You mean the 40% fit tvs ?. Why ?. Should i go for the regular sized ones which take up more space ?. Any reason ??

I find sammy crts are available for around 8k... What do you think ??

if budget is strict constraint then you can certainly go for crt however for longer run i would suggest a lcd..

i have seen the mosarbear lcd in use at cpl of places and i must admit for normal tv i wudn't mind using them . they look good if the source is decent..
