Please Suggest - Is it safe to buy Sony str ddn-1040 via Ebay Global

I am planning to buy a new receiver and was interested in this

NEW Sony STR-DN1040 4k 7.2 channel Wifi Network A/V Home Theater Receiver 7.2CH

Please let me know if its ok to buy this way. Do you guys think this receiver is a good choice and works fine in India with a step down transformer?

What is good abt this Sony receiver that is not aval in Onkyo/yamaha/Denon/maratnz Brands ?

Also you can go ahead and buy. But do check with the warranty. Ebay - anyway you payment is safe/secure.
The otherside of the coin - what if you receive as damaged. Will you be required to send it back!!! If so, who will borne the cost of sending it back? Time taken? Money refund? Or another product etc etc.
Keeping all this and many more that come's to mind.. it's better to shop in India!
