pls help, urgent (lcd)

I want to buy an lcd tv(32"). It will be my first lcd and i don't know much about them. My budget is tightly limited to 25000. We will use it mostly for day to day serial watching and news and sports. I will buy some hd dish connection after this. I will really appreciate any help. I just want to buy something that gives good quality picture. Would be good if it has good sound,usb,hd.. In belgaum i can only prefer standard companies due to service problems....thanks in advance

There are plenty of HD ready LCDs within your budget. For normal TV watching and at 32 inch size, HD ready is sufficient. Some full HD models also available. Check at the nearest showrooms.

You can opt for the cx42 or the cx32 if you want good quality picture. Cx52 is a little expensive and i dont think it will fit in your budget... So try getting the above. I think the cx32 is a hd ready one and the cx42 is full hd (1080p). Apart from these i dont find any difference but not sure. But the above come with bravia engine and the cx52 comes with the latest xreality engine. But these do matter only if your intention is to watch HD content. For standard serial and cable TV watching the 720p (HD ready) will satisfy you as god2007 pointed out.

PS: If the difference is negligble then i would suggest you to get the FUll hd model as Full HD might become the standard very sooner...

check availability in your area, Toshiba PB10 is a very good HD ready TV at Rs.20k. It also comes with 3 year warranty and some freebies.

today i am going to Hubli. Will check that cx 42. Hope i will not regret What i buy. Thanks for the suggestions
