Obviously, the power point and transformer has been designed to take voltage upto 250V. If not, you would have fried the TV by now. Did you buy it in NY where there are shops that sell for Indian?

Cheers

hahahahahahahhahaah

hats off to you....From where did you get the courage to connect 110V TV to 240V.

Joke apart..sometime OEM provide 100-240 internally but on outer cover write 110V only.
One example of this is "Sony PS3"

If your TV was not supporting 240....it would have damaged the moment you turned on the power supply

^ok bro then i can continue to watch tv without voltage converter na?

7 days already done.. go ahead.. else it would have been 7 seconds and a " smokin hot" tv...

it shows 250v near the power cable socket so its good.. keep watchin..:D
just wondering you bought a US TV sitting in India that too knowing it was 110V at least as per the info and for 400$ +
