Friends,
It is been a while I was working on a second stereo setup. My requirement was to setup a simple system with minimal components. I was considering sony HAP-S1 , Arcam Solo Neo and Naim Unitiqute as the system core. however, I am settling in for Naim Unitilite. I was on look out and wanted to hear them with Dali zensors. I found a dealer who had the same setup in demo. I did like the dynamism and crisp presentation with this setup. although I found this combo to be very clinical, which is a slight turn off for me. The same dealer did have wharfedale Denton spl edition, which was really warm, but they struggled to open up completely in the listening room.
I considered revel performa m105, Vienna acoustic Hayden grand, and Proac tablette spl edition, all of them we're accelerate for some good prices. However, I stumbled upon a compelling deal for a PMC DBS2S+ passive studio monitors. No way to audition the combo, and I have doubts whether the unitilite can drive these speakers to their full shine.
Any opinions / suggestions please.
