i am buying this in USA and taking to India. Are these good speakers for movie and music 70 % and 30 %. Does any one know price in Mumbai for these ?

Did you listen to polk speakers before?

Anyways, if you like the sound, you can take it. But personally, I feel the subwoofer is the weak link. 50 watt rms and 8 inch driver don't hold much breath. For movies, you should spend more on the centre channel and subwoofer. So if I were you, I will rather buy rti series speakers and add subwoofer separately. In other words, spend more on the sub and you will enjoy your movies more.

Also, it seems like Polk speakers are discounted in India. we can definitely get polk speakers here at a cheaper price than US (Amazon prices). What an irony!!

So, save your space and get the speakers here.

For the size and price they are definitely good. But I suppose they are no longer available in India and have been replaced by Blackstone

thanks all for the guidance. i m getting for 175 usd. so just 10000 rs. i think its any day a good deal. in india i wont get it for less than 20000
