Polk TSX 330 or Pioneer AJ5235xt which is better

Hi,

I have been trying to purchase good Speakers for my Living Room. Auditioned Pioneer AJ 5235xt and Polk TL1600 both sounds almost same. But decided to go for Pioneer AJ5235xt but there was no stock and will not be available till next month it seems.

Now i came to know about Polk TSX 330 Speakers package which includes

Polk TSX330 Floorstanding speakers
Polk OWM 3 Surround Speakers
Polk TSX Center Speaker
PSW Sub Woofer

Can you please tell me which one is good between this Polk TSX 330 and Pioneer AJ Speakers. Polk Seems a bit high in price compared to pioneer but want to know which sounds good. Please let me know your valuable inputs

Hi

IMHO the Polks are good for Cinema purpose....Music does not sound too great.....I would feel and most would agree with me the AJ speakers would be much better off....patience is a virtue....why not wait for a little more time and buy it?

The Key is to audition the speakers you want to purchase with your kind of music and make a wise decision.....we can advise you but at the end of the day it is you who will be using the speakers and spending for it...so trust your ears....we are here to provide all the support and assistance to steer you...all the best...why not try other brands? Jamos S426 HCS3? Wharfedale? etc?

Thank you for the reply, i can wait for Pioneer but just want to know which sounds good, also i heard Jamo S426 but didnt liked the sound and Wharfedale i did not.

I am using Polk TSx330T with my stereo set up and it is better than Pioneer, IMO.

Auditioned and purchased Yamaha 479, polk TSX330T and Polk TSX 150C today. Both pioneer AJ and TSX 330 are very good 5.1 packages, I liked them both. My use is mostly movies, so choose Polk over AJ.
