Amazon.in: Buying Choices: Creative Sound Blaster Roar Portable NFC Bluetooth Wireless Speaker with aptX/AAC
Hi,
I want to purchase above speaker which has very good reviews and seems versatile and is feature packed.
But its not available in India.
Only one seller is selling on Amazon India after importing it. There is one year seller warranty, buy no company warranty.
Is it worth to take risk and purchase it?
Or suggest some alternative in range of Rs 15k

Yes sir. It got good reviews.
Only strong point in favour of creative roar is features that it offfers and PC connectivity.

I suggest, go for Bose Sondlink Mini.
I have one using for last more than an year.
Fantastic Sound quality. As if you are listening to HTIB.
Pl. listen at Bose store & decide. It costs little above 15K.

I too find the 'Bose' the most practical solution. It's really compact. So mobility is good. Charging dock is convenient. It's a Bluetooth speaker after all, so can't expect Hifi sound from any brand. Has the best bass for the size which helps in small outdoor partying. Also very good battery life.

Maybe so, but the audio quality a compared to JBL is far superior. Using regularly for almost a year now and if your downloads are of good quality, reproduction is fantastic.

It's usually better to buy a product with the manufacturer's warranty. To my mind, seller's warranty does not mean much. If things go wrong during the warranty period, you may be left high and dry.

Yes you can connect to desktop,if it is Bluetooth enabled. Otherwise you need a Bluetooth dongle A2DP enabled to stream audio.

Also please checkout the JBL charge 2 and JBL flip 2...the have got some pretty good reviews...Also if you are a traveller bose's docks should also be carried with you...JBL speakers can be charged with a usb cable...

Logitech UE boom box is not available in India.
Overall, I think probably Bose gives rich and best SQ

I have settled for Creative Muvo20 BT speaker from amazon India @ Rs 4k. Its surely not in league of Bose. But it got really good reviews.
I am thinking of dedicated good multimedia speakers for PC, possibly Swan.
