I need suggestion for Voltage Regulator/ Surge Protector/ UPS for our Sony TV KDL55W950B.
I want to protect our Bravia TV at any cost from Power Disturbances of any type. I don't want the TV get any harm from surge / dip in the line.My requirements :
1. Protect the TV from Spike/Surge/Dip/Lightning
2. Provide stable voltage supply during power fluctuation
3. I need just 10 seconds to look for the remote and turn the TV off during power failure, i don't want to run the TV for a prolonged period on UPS Backup; just the time to shut the TV down legitimately, same as I do for a desktop PC.
4. Our inverter doesn't provide UPS mode, so during power failure, it dips and then comes back. I don't want the TV to unexpectedly turn off and then on during power failure. I want only a brief amount of time only to turn the TV off, not watch the TV on battery power.
5. We don't get frequent power fluctuation/ Failure.Yet I don't want to take any chance.
I want a device [UPS/Voltage regulator] that would not let the problem reach the TV's hardware and let the TV last long.Please Suggest me an UPS with voltage stabilizing capability and surge protection.The tV works at 134 Watt.I will use our BDP S490 and in future an HD STB together with the TV.
