Professional Head Cleaner - S721H

Finally bought the Professional Head Cleaner S721H paying 32$ including shipping. But am sure its every worth of,considering the high end NAKs that needs to BE serviced so regularly.Must be a better option than those Alcohols.

this thing is more or less naphtha. Not sure what the benefits are.

Be careful about using it on plastic parts

S721H is not just Naphtha. It does contain naphtha with alcohol etc.... It will do NO HARM to any plastic part. None! Use it on any plastic part and nothing will happen.
Moreover, this solution conditions the rubber pinch rollers and keeps them moist unlike alcohol, which is guaranteed to dry them and cause flaking of the rubber after prolonged use. Remember, these decks have already been in use for over 30 or so years and many might have been abused with alcohol....Do you want to hasten the rubber's deterioration? If so go use alcohol.The authority on Naks in the USA, Jeff Galin of ESL Labs. only recommends this American Recorder product on the transports of decks, both Naks and non Naks. Any more questions?

We sometimes tend to forget that for each extra penny we spend there is an utility factor which cannot be replaced by cheap resources I guess.

the msds of this product just says naphtha with hexane. I couldn't find any mention of alcohol

Actually no one but the manufacturer knows whats really inside this one. Its a trade secret. Al the same, it will do no harm to plastic of the deck. Rest assured. If you sold something in the USA that caused the deck's plastic any harm, you would not be making such a product for these many years with impunity!
Yes, its expensive for some( not for most in the USA/EU) but worth it.
