Proposal to start a Headphone section for HP lovers

Hi,

I am sure there are lot of audiophiles who loves to listen to his/her headphones. Can we start a Headphone section in the Audio Components. Requesting all the Headphone lovers to pitch in with support.

Good idea, hope it happens. There are more hp enthusiasts now than ever before due to smartphones, tablets and better availability of brands.

If I remember right, it has been proposed before and debated.

Then Lets debate again. I mean there is an entire forum (Head-fi) running exclusively for Headphone lovers. Any music lover will appreciate Headphones for more serious listening sessions, for more intimate listening.

Let's see if we can catch some attention of the moderators.

As more people have access to smartphones there will be more listeners so a section dedicated to headphone will be good.

dude, we dont even have a tube section and you are expecting a headphone section. Discuss your LCD audeze, yamaha hp-100s and sennheiser HD800s and high end headphone amps in the "Portable media player and accessories forum".hyeah:

I don't know where to discuss DACs either. Does it come under CD-Players or Computer Audio or Media/Streaming Players or HTPC ?

At least for headphones there can be just two heads - Portable media player or Speakers section !

I would suggest a DAC section and then a Headphones section.

I think that both a DAC section and a "Head Fi" section would be a good addition to the forum.
With the way things are with media files nowadays we do need a separate DAC forum for sure.

I feel that a dedicated section for all types private listening gadgets would be a great place to discuss and share your views on the topic.

I spent a considerable time with my headphone on and would like to talk about it.
