Purchased Marantz MCR-510

Hi,

I am glad to share the details:

I have the following connection:

Pioneer BDP440 connected to my marantz mcr-510 and then my PSB t5 to the speaker terminal of mcr-510 and wharfedale sw150 subwoofer to the subwoofer out of 510.

conclusion:
Excellent details in every strings and I just felt i have a sound stage in front of me,


clarification required:

1.what is the dac used inside the mcr-510 and mcr-610
2. Does marantz cd player latest ones has better DAC than 510 and 610

I like details in the sound so should I have gone for a CD palyer? I play mp3 and flac all time and I need sub out since I have subwoofer,

note, I have NAD 375BEE which i am not using anymroe since 510 does not have line out :-(

Let me know your suggestions and your conclusion on my decision.

Hi , offtopic question .
I am also looking forward to get the MCR-510 or the 610 for my system but i think they might be a little underpowered for my Sonodyne 2605 . Currently driving them by a Denon AVR . How does the 510 handle your PSB t5 specially the lower frequencies since i wont be using a Subwoofer !
