Puresine wave UPS for TV/soundbar

Do we need to buy a pure sinewave UPS for the TV/soundbard. I got a Toshiba u79 65 inch TV (200 watts) and samsung soundbar (~80watts).
I need some back up solution for 6-10 minutes (till the apartment generator kicks in). Has to be something compact and need it just specifically for this TV/speaker setup.

I was thinking of buying the 1000VA APC UPS (Rs 6k) but the customer care said that for TV, i should go for a pure sinewave UPS (which seems to cost around 25k for 1000VA and around 18k for 750 VA).

So i wanted to know if pure sinewave is a definitive requirement for TV/soundbar? What do i lose if i use a normal UPS?

Pure sinewave is not required. Regular line interactive serves very well.

A regular APC 600 VA UPS will do just fine for you. Just make sure the switch over time is less than 5 milliseconds.
