I have Yamaha Rx V681. This has no RCA out for Sub. Only LFE for both subs since it is 7.2. I want to connect Sub of Sonodyne Roarr 2815 which has only RCA left and right inputs and no LFE inputs.

Help me select technically and acoustically right option please:-

1. I use an RCA cable with one RCA connector at one end and split connectors at other end (basically RCA left and right inputs of Sub are connected in parallel to one LFE output or receiver). I will be using only one LFE out in this case.

2. I use normal RCA cable with left and right connectors at both ends and connect both LFE out of receiver to left and right of the RCA input of Sub.

Thanks in advance

That's ok. Check the sub manual. There must be one of the RCA connectors mentioned as manual. Connect the lfe to that. If there's isn't, then connect the lfe from receiver either left or right. You could also get a 1x2 RCA adaptor from Amazon.

Thanks for the reply Mash. The manual does not mention one of the RCA ports as manual. Hence what you recommend is what I have described as option 1? One LFE out to both RCA of Sub.

Right it could be either to both via an adapter or to just left or right. From the subs I used, the left RCA has been manual/lfe input.
