Recommendation for a surround speaker replacement?

Hi,
One of my surround speakers has gone bad. (regular static in the sound.)
The speakers are ~21 yrs old, (Sony SS-MSP1). Specs attached.
It's a metal body.

Looking to buy a replacement for these.
Need them only to be better than the current ones - not looking for an upgrade.

I found Yamaha NS-P51 for about 10k .
Specs: NS-P51 specs
The Yamaha one has a wooden/MDF body v/s Sony that has a metal body.

I don't really understand the technicalities much, but seems to be better than the Sony ones.

Can you guys tell by just looking at the specs? Is the Yamaha one better?

Do also check out the JBL control 1. Will be cheaper than 10k and might even be better.

Do check Polk T15 bookshelf, well reviewed speakers at low budget

Thanks folks! went for the yamaha NSP 51. Installed just now - seem to be ok.
The JBL control speakers weren't available anywhere, and the Polk were costlier. But super thanks for the suggestions!!
