Hi I was looking for a guide to pack and ship a home theatre

Since I am relocating soon and wish to carry my setup with me to my new location.

I assume a lot of are working or have to relocate for colleges and new jobs -- so how does one move around their AV gear , normally a full packers and movers would incorporate this but in this case only the AV GEAR is the only thing extra other than my luggage.

I have a LOGITECH Z5500 which weighs 25-30kgs.

Please share some ideas to packing the equipment because I don't have the original packaging -- also what shipping service to opt for? Like Gati etc. ?

About the packing you would have to see yourself. Lots of bubble wrap in a cardboard box with fragile stickers pasted all over should do the job.

As far as shipping is concerned you might get a cheaper rate from fedex.

Other companies such as dtdc etc charge about Rs 60 per kg. For shipments over 5-10 kg fedex is cheaper. You can calculate the quote easily using their website. The service is good and tracking is one of the best I have seen.

Just checked up with FedEx it's definitely cheap but they have a screwed up insurance policy where you can only claim the insurance amount paid that is 1000 bucks -- also trying to find out through Bluedart and Aramex

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
