Good morning friends,
Thanks for reading my post.

I got PS audio multi channel amp(GCA MC250X5) from a friend. Cosmetically it is not prefect, but I got for a good price, took the chance.
The amp is rated at 250wrms X 5channels, with gain cell technology. I read a lot of great reviews on the net. So I want to evolutes the amp in my system.

The test set up consists of DIY JBL L-300 speakers (cabinet need to make), and INTEGRA DTR10.5 as a preamp. Digital out taken from a sony bluray plater.

The same sytem I drove with a Yamaha mx1000 two channel power amp (260watts rms/channel). So I have idea how a 250watts rms will drive a jbl 2235,15 woofers.

All the setup done and started playing my favorite test tracks. No special tracks, but with some good recording materials,

Ooh man the amp is excellent, no crosstalk at all. You cant hear any hissing sound even you kept your ear near to the tweeter.
The bass is well defined, excellent control on the woofers. Very well executed design. I am much exited and playing my favorite tracks multiple times to enjoy. amp runs about 04hours but no heat at all, quite cool. all my un favorable opinions about digital amps was gone with this testing.it is head to head with the Yamaha mx1000 power amp and in some areas it is a thin line above the Yamaha amp.
The bass control is insane.finally I am enjoying this new toy.
Finally it is a great amp .it will sits in my set up.

Your setup looks nice... especially the monster speakers.

PS Audio is nice, I had the good fortune to hear the PS DirectStream DAC and the NuWave... way out of my budget though then.

Thanks, the speakers still under construction. Hoping to finish early

Congrats. Yes the psaudio amps have very good bass, which i have experienced with my gcc100 integrated amp. Should be good match with your jbl speakers.
