Sammy 51E6500 or Panny 42ST50B

Hello All,

Newcomer from Belfast here, Hows it going

I am buying a TV tomorrow and just want some final thoughts between the 2 models i have narrowed down to.

51E6500 (I have seen the 60" model and was impressed) (Around 660)

42ST50B (I have not seen in the flesh, but great reviews) (RS 699)

I have decided on plasma for better a movie experience at night!

I'll be about 6-8' away from the set and a not so bright room (I can always close the blinds ) The set is mainly for HD and 3D movie watching.

Any final thoughts of people who have owned either of these or have seen them both going would be great. :thumbsup:

Both are good TVs. However, I would recommend Samsung mainly because you are getting a bigger screen for less price.

As the application for you is HD and 3D movies then even for the closer viewing distance of 6-8feet, 51inch screen is the best choice.
