Hi,
I was waiting for Samsung 2012 models and finally they have arrived.

I am again confused, should I wait for Panasonic 2012 models or should I go ahead with Samsung LEDs.

From the forum and other Internet website I understand that for LED, Samsung is good choice and for Plasmas, Panasonic is best bet. But which technology is superior or have more merits is still not certain.

From power consumption point of view, I feel LEDs are ultimate choice but lately I realized that colors of the Plasmas are more real than more saturated colors of LEDs.

Now I want to check new Samsung models in showroom. I want to check 40ES6200R, 40ES5600R and 40ES5330R. I have loosely decided to go for 40ES5330R for price and features but still I am bit reluctant to place an order before checking up Panasonic 2012 models.

I would appreciate if anybody want to share his / her thoughts or suggestions on this topic.

Are you serious that plasmas consume a lot of power? I own a Samsung PS43E470. Its a 2012 plasma model and the power consumption is rated just 115W.

Ofcourse Plasma TV will consume more electricity than a LED TV. You will notice that the "Energy Efficiency Class" for the Samsung Plasma TVs mentioned under specifications is "B" while for LED TVs it will be "A+"

HI Dear,

Panasonic is also launched 2012 lineup. The new 42XT50D plasma is now available in india @47K.

Hi,
Yes, I think now all players will launch their new models before Friday, 27 July 2012.

Because the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games is on that day.

I am waiting for Panasonic, even if I am firm on Samsung LED 2012 models. I am very much curious about Panasonic Plasma range. I may change my mind, if the PQ is better than Samsung LED.

good decision but dont judge the PQ of any display in the unfriendly environment (showroom) LCD will always have an upper hand when seen in the room with loads of light

42XT50 @ 47K means i can get 42UT 50 only for my budget (around 70K) so friends tell me shall i go with 42 UT 50 or samsung 51E550 or any other LED tv

Where did you get this information because I have searched Internet but I could get any information about Panasonic 2012, series 50 models.

even am planning to buy one new panasonic plasma 42 inch TV. I have tried in net to get the information but did't find anything related to new arrivals in India 2012 models.
