Hi,
I purchased Samsung 32" F5100 LED TV last week from Chroma. MRP Rs 35,900/-. After discount from Samsung company, it costed me Rs 34,400/-. No discount from Chroma. Also purchased 2 yr extended warranty from Chroma for Rs 2,000/-, So total cost Rs 36,400/-. Chroma delivered brand new piece. I saw the Chroma warehouse indent for the TV. There was no company seal etc and the box was packed just by normal transparent sticking tape. I checked service menu which revealed zero usage hours. However it seems that I got SMVA panel. The Panel number in service menu is 32P6AFOSEA. Version number was not printed on TV box, but it was stuck on backside of TV, so no way to find out the panel without opening the TV package. Planning to buy Videocon d2h shortly. I checked various movie files on USB. All r running well with subtitle support. Till now, I have noticed any problem. Picture and sound quality is good.
Anyone else purchased same model? What is ur experience with this model? Since it has been recently launched, review of this model is not available anywhere.

It would be great if you can post few pics. I hope, you'll really enjoy this new release by Samsung.

Hi,

I also purchased the same TV from shahs chennai,For Rs.34000.I experienced that the sound was good and also picture.I was woundering that it has the analogue cleaning filter option which used to reduce the noises using anlogue input (cable tv).I dont have any trouble to read the data in my harddisk. It plays most of the video formats. The only issue i faced is when i try to upgrade my firmwire.i cant able to do.I downloaded a new firmwire from samsung site and try to install but the TV doesnt able to find the installation file.

Hi,

Mind sharing how did you check the TV usage hours on this set?
I too have this set and wanted to check the usage hours.

Thanks.
