Hi guys, newbie here, Vinod from Tirupati, not a tech-savvy person (doc). As it appears from reading your awesome forum for the last 2 days, difference between Samsung 32" 5000R and 32" 6003R (? basic in 6 series) is the CMR, 100HZ vs 400HZ. But the term CMR does not appear to be equivalent to refresh rate. Can any1 tell me how CMR converts to plain refresh rate. It is my opinion that Samsung is trying to confuse consumers by using such terms just to create an excuse to charge us more. For me, my family is going to use this TV for viewing serials, news channels and a rare movie. My question is
1) Will there be any significant difference in PQ with 6 series TV to be worth the 15k difference in price? We dont have any DTH at home, its just the local cable guy.
2) Anybody using a plasma TV for at least 2 years, please give me your thoughts about screen burn-in (things like problems with DTH logo, channel logo, etc).
3) Considering local cable input, which will give better picture perception from 8' feet viewing distance, a 32 inch LED or 40 inch LED?
Thanks in advance.
