I have some movies saved on an external hard drive that is plugged into my Samsung LED TV. When I play the movies, they have that "soap opera" look. I am assuming this is an issue with having the Auto Motion Plus turned on, but I cannot figure out how to turn this off for the USB input. I can turn it off in every other input ( In Main Menu - Picture Settings ) but not USB.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Beleive me this soap opera effect (technically called dejuddering) will be fantastic when wathcing movies like avatar...

You should see the setting inside the Video playback menu. Main menu settings are different than the USB menu... This is strange, but Samsung has altogether different Operating Environments for each of the media even in USB playback.. Not sure why they were not merged together universally... I believe they might have got merged in 2011 models though..
