Models 51F4900 and 51F5500 are only in Plasma category. They are clearly mentioned in the add (In the term and conditions)! Just that extended warranty for these models is just 1 year extra compared to 6 series LEDs! Extra 3D glass pair free with every 3d TV of Samsung. So go for this offer. Extended Warranty of 1 year extra is well worth.

so for 1 yr standard + 2 yr additional=3 Yrs for LED : 40 f6800/7500, 46 f6800/7500/8000, 50f6800, 55f6400/7500/8000, 60f6400, 65f8000, 75es9000/f6400 & Plasma : 64f8500
& 1 yr standard + 1 yr additional= 2yrs for LED :all other LED & Plamsa 43f4900 & 51f4900/5500

If it is so then please tell why Plasma Models 51F4900 and 51F5500 are mentioned in the offer ?
Don't act over-smart! I have read n understood the offers before starting this thread!
Offers is applicable on both LEDs and Plasmas ( With different period of warranty)

My mistake, missed out the fine print............terms and conditions, was only looking at the main advertisement. But this was a mistake on my part and by no means was I trying to act smart, so please do not think otherwise.
I wonder where did that come from???.........totally uncalled for!!!

Just want people to read the add well before jumping to conclusions and writing statements.

I bought the 64f8500 two months ago. Does anyone know if I can avail the extended warranty?
No
I asked people in Croma.
You can avail by paying some negotiated money and buying the warranty though..
64F8500 is one TV which WILL require extended warranty.

Booked the 64F8500 today . Plasma . Very very happy . 1.86 with installation , wall mounts , 4 3d glasses and 3 years warranty under samsungs current promotion . Plus I got 15 EMI scheme with 0% interest and 0% processing fee . TV will be delivered on Monday
