its high time they did that.india being such a big market, they have been taking us for a ride for so long.

I was told by the CSC that extended warranty for PDPs may be introduced within 6-12 months. Whether it will be applicable to new purchases only is what I couldn't squeeze a clarity on.

Can u mention where in the website it's written they're providing ex-warranty for tv?..there is a 5 yr ex-warranty on printer and it's their UK website.

It's cool that they are giving 3 yrs extended warranty. I guess with LG only you can purchase amc even after 3 yrs. Are there other brands which will give you ex-warranty even after 3 yrs of purchase?

I don't think the rates are that cool, 10k for a 32inch.

People are complaining before cause there were no ex-warranty for samsung and there are many cases of panel going kaput just after 1 yr. Even if they don't give ex-warranty it's not like that people aren't gonna buy samsung.
