Hi,

Anyone has purchased or owned Samsung UA55F6400 tv?
Today there's an offer from Samsung in newspaper that the price is slashed from 1.55L to 1.04L. :indifferent14:

So anyone can share the experience and the VFM?

Hi Invisible,

I don't understand your problem.. Pls dont spam
Moderators must take action on his posts. Why do you keep posting same thing?

w950 w950 We all know that its a great TV but that doesn't mean others TV's or other Brands are bad. Grow up..
I have an LG TV and i am very happy with it but i never push anyone to buy LG.

Recommend TV's which suits their requirement and budget. :)

anyways coming to nitin88g,

The 55f6400 is a good model . Have had it for over 6 months. For the money the tv offers alot. And yes PQ is more than acceptable once the settings are tuned.

@ Invisible - Why dont you keep your one lines to yourself. All you do is harp like there is no tomorrow .

Don't you read the title of thread before you post a comment?
All you do is Copy & Paste..
Sure W900 series is best but that's not all, there are others models which are good too. :ohyeah:

i just bought this model, i'm in love with this "opera soap" effect, so i went to electronic store, and bought this samsung model, since it's fits with my budget.
it just after arrived home, and try it some bluray movies, i notice some late pixels on fast moving scene...
was this is the defect on F6400 ? or is it caused by HDMI cable, or any setting that i should adjust ?

also at some scene, sometimes it's overly saturated on skintones, but sometimes it's ok, did someone also experiencing this too ?

please share some experience about this samsung model.

many thanks.

Can you post some pics of the problem ? It will be better to tell then. It could be the firmware of the TV or the player or the cable.

Try the calibrated settings, you can find in here or try online.

I have also purchased this TV in 40 inches. Outstanding black levels but falls a little short if you compare it to the Samsung's 5500 series of plasma. Color saturation and accuracy is also very impressive. I am using this TV with calibrated settings and thinking of purchasing a calibrator tool too to improve it further. I would recommend everybody to use movie picture mode.

I wouldn't even recommend this model to our neighbours uptop across the valleys. Had already decided on 950 but this F6400 had just come out in Jan of this year with a lot of gimmicks and I got attracted to it like a moth. Bought it in January from a Electronics super store here, guys came in and mounted the TV and everything was hunky dory for only 12 HRS. Within 12 HRS, a vertical blue line appeared on the TV. Called the guys, made a lot of noise and it took 2 weeks for them to replace the TV with a new one convincing me that this was an isolated incident and this was the best model that money can buy.

3 days back the new TV also stated playing tricks like the Video would disappear after 5 seconds and I thought this could be due to my HDMI cable going burst and hence replaced it but the problem still remains. I tried playing video from USB and the same happens. So, I guess I have to make that call to Samsung Service so that they will come home give me their version of the genie that lives inside my TV, take the TV, bottle the Genie and bring it back and all I can do is hope it wouldn't happen again!!!!!

My first 42 inch TV was a DAEWOO (Plasma) and that never gave me any problem for 7 years, then an LG and that was rock solid too in terms of reliability and my decision to stick with the Koreans this time backfired!!!

SAMSUNG here I CALL.......!!!!!!!!!!!

I am planning to buy a used Samsung UA55f6400,a 55 inch 3d,smart led.
I would like any inputs for whuch I should look before closing in the deal.
Especially the usage hours of the tv,how can I check the Number of hours for which this tv has been used.
I am getting it for 60k asking price,is it a gud price or should I go in for some negotiation?
Any additional tips befor buying a used led. It's a july 2013 purchase, any idea of figures I am going to be looking at for usage hours?
Earlier the seller was not sure of wheter he is having a bill or not,but now he's saying that he can arrange either for a duplicate bill from croma or will try to search for old one.Do croma really issue duplicate bill when asked for an already sold good 1.5years later?
Should I put in this much of worry,on getting a bill or can I buy it without bill as well?
The seller is saying he was having 1 year warranty and now I would be able to buy an additional warranty now,can it be true with a gap of 5 months with nil warranty period?
Any inputs would be highly appreciated.
