samsung used tv 46" led to india (1year)

Hi, I lives in US and going back to india on next month. I have samsung 46" inch led tv which I purchased on last year Nov 2012.Could you please suggest that how much I need to pay for the flight and still do I need to pay anything to customes.

Please advise me on this.

according to new circular airport customs charging 36% of the price

36% of the Inr equivalent of Usd or Inr price of the model here - depends on the officer, I hope

If Its 1 year old a depreciation in value will be considered

If you are coming back to India for settling here after a 2 year stay in abroad a facility called " Transfer of Residence can be utilized ". in which a reduction of duty is allowed

Check with airline, 46" as a check in baggage
