Screen free music listening setup for kids room

Hi all,

I am planning to provide good high fidelity system for my kids room who is currently 7. However I want to avoid interaction with mobile or tablet to setup music listening to avoid distraction for watching other stuff. Idea is to keep it for purely music

I am planning to provide his own Spotify account or even other subscription if needed. However I do feel there should be some small screen to display songs or select playlist or add songs playlist etc.

1. Is it possible for adding monitor to network streamers to display Spotify or other services?
2. Any other DIY option if no other solution available?

If you have linux or mac laptop (maybe it is possible in windows too, but I don't have any experience on that platform). You can enable a user to autologin and create a startup item to launch spotify

Interesting. Unfortunately don't have these. However I do have some old tabs, nexus 7, 2 ipads. Will check if similar thing can be implemented in them.

Also came to know about Harman Kardon Citation 300 having small screen. I don't know how useful that screen is. Anyone have experience with them?

You can setup parental controls in settings of android. Never tried them, but I think you should be able to restrict account just to use spotify.
