Hi,
I am setting up my HT room and I have zeroed in on the Benq W2720i PJ. The room dimensions are 20 feet by 11 feet with a 9 feet height ceiling.
I wish to install a 133 inch Velvet bordered screen(I know it's a bit much but always wanted the max possible screen size) which would roughly be of 118 inch width and 65 inches height. I also plan to install 2 Tower Speakers which would be 12 inch wide and 3 feet tall. So effectively I would not have enough room to place the Centre Speakers on the side. Is it ok if I place the Screen above the 3 feet Towers?
I intend to place 4 recliners at ground level at a distance of around 13 feet from screen, without raisers. Would the height of 37 inch of the screen above the floor be too much?
Going by the projector central 1/3 calculation, I would need 22 inch of screen to be at eye level(assuming 42 inch eye level height), leaving me with only 20 inch from floor, whereas I would be placing it at 37 inch from floor above the Floor.
Please advise if I should go with this or just settle for a smaller 120 inch screen leaving me with just enough space for a screen side tower placement and screen placement at any desired level.
Add on question: Planning to go for a 7.2.2( AVR-3800H) for my 20 by 11 ft room. Would it be better to add 4 atmos and 2 back surrounds or 4 surrounds and 2 atmos channels.
