Seeking opinion on Elac Varro PS500 Subwoofer

Hello FMs,
I currently own SVS SB 1000 Pro with my system which is having QA 3030i , 3090Ci, 3010i for ground level and sonodyne atoms speakers.
This setup is in living room which is about 20*11 with stairs meaning permanently opened space.
SB 1000 Pro seems inadequate for this space and I am looking for alternate options, I shortlisted few options but mainly interested in Elac Varro PS500 which is 15inches and with 500W RMS (more info: https://elac.com/ps500)
Reasons:
1. The space is untreated and this one comes with DSP and room correction built in
2. I have contact who deals in HT products and sell products from all major brands like Ascendo, tonewinner, SVS, JBL, XTZ etc. and he is suggesting PS500 over Ascendo as well as tonewinner.

Guys, If anyone got audition of this sub and share some information, Please share your opinion.

Ascendo 600 Rms now. And check klipsch new RP1200 and 1400 subs also.

Yes, Ascendo SV12 was considered earlier but the dealer suggested to Varro over it, He is having both units available along with tonewinner and monolith but he said Elac Varro is better than sv12

Also, there are very few videos, reviews about this Varro series so I thought that if someone has auditioned it, they can provide better info.

Hi FMs, I sold my SVS 1000 Pro and how looking for a proper replacement. I am still leaning towards this Elac PS500. Please share your valuable feedback on the same. Feel free to recommend something else as well.

Hi Sorry for the late reply, I didn't have any experience with pb2000 but I would say that PS500 is clear winner, It is giving me experience that haven't felt previously.

As I came from SB1000 pro, Here is my full experience.
- I was hesitant to move to ported sub but PS500 is very very controlled sub, no unwanted booming
- With SB1000 Pro, I always had to keep Dynamic EQ running on my Denon 3800h to feel it working at low volumes specifically below 62mark, Now with PS500, I turned off Dynamic EQ as I fill like there is of bass at all volumes
- My space is open living room with stairs, I am using the sub at 43volume level from app because this is non treated space, one side is full glass slider which is also not that good and loose, there is POP ceiling and many times I heard the frame to vibrate and rattle.
- SB1000Pro was bottoming out in movies many times, It felt struggling with demanding movies, I still believe that SB1000Pro is a really good sub but for small spaces.
- With PS500 I am experiencing movies like a proper theatre (Even though at volume at 43-45 from their app), I am expecting it to perform like true Beast in properly tuned room, I am very eager to experience the same.
- I would say go for Elac and try to get audition if possible, It was not possible for me as in Ahmedabad there are only few experience centre.
