Select Graphics Card

Hi, looking for a good budget graphics card to replace my ATI Radeon 5500. Had done a lot of research when I got this and preferred ATI over Nvidia for HTPC. However, I'm not sure if now ATI is still a good choice over Nvidia. I have 2 cards in mind:

GT 1030
GT 710

which would work better and if any others would make the list. I am not into gaming. Only requirement is using MadVR for mkv files with 1080p and HD audio (DTS/DD). Not using 4k or Atmos for now, but might look at it later.

Do you also use MadVR? I understand MadVR is very heavy on resources, does the GT730 work well with it effortlessly?

Yes no issues with madvr. I even have some additional filters. Dont recall now as it's been awhile I used my htpc. It's all prime, Netflix, etc on firestick.

please get 1050 ti for future-proofing with some extra money and no need to change GPU when you will shift to 4K+HDR and Netflix.
