I was using SHARP CRT TV earlier. The picture clarity and sound was good even better than SONY. I had a chance to look at SHARP LCD tv in show room reeently.. and it looked good.
But not sure about its reliablity...etc. Search for reviews about this product in forums and decide.

Sharp LCD's are good, but expensive comparatively. They keep telling you they are made in "Japan".
In my opinion Samsung & Sony are good and cost you less.
