Sherwood Newcastle rx 772

Hi guys

Have any of you heard the Sherwood RX 772? I heard it and thought it was certainly worth a mention in this forum. My humble (non expert) view was this amp did not seem to lack anything from what I could make out (even though I am aware that Sherwood as a brand does not have much following). And this Model is from Sherwood's premium audio quality (New Castle) with the aim of forging into the global stereo space. And it is retailing for around 25K. Seems a decent option to drive some floorstanders.

I have a Sherwood newcastle, never really knew what I was buying at the time but they make a decent amp. Makes a change from getting the mainstream stuff, that comes out of Japan. Sherwood seems to be going strong in places like Korea as it is Korean owned. And I would think it would still be a well known make in America as it started there and is probably American designed. Don't know much about the new Sherwood models but they are probably very well designed. I don't see why I would need another amp right now, as my Sherwood Newcastle, for my needs is nice for music as well, the dolby pro logic is just awesome. My amp doesn't have dolby p logic 2. But the pro logic is just such a nice sound for me.
