Sine Wave Home UPS for 1000Watts Load

Hi All,

I am looking for a UPS with the following features:-

1) Must be capable to handle 1000 Watts load. This includes, TV, Amp, Projector, Wifi, TS Box, Etc all put together.
2) Sine Wave UPS.
3) MINIMUM Battery Backup (Say 10 Minutes at Full load), just to ensure a safe shut down.


Saw some options like APC SUA 1500I ....too costly some 25-26k.
Excide Home UPS 1450VA, Microtek Sine Wave 1500VA etc.

Would need some suggestions on any other option/brand and around 12-13k for UPS + Battery.

IIRC, two 100AH tubular batteries alone cost me about 13K about 3 years ago. Add about 7K for the sine wave inverter.

Not sure about current prices, but I guess that's kind of the ballpark you are looking at unless you reduce the number of batteries and/or the VA if possible and perhaps even go with a square wave inverter (not recommended) if you absolutely cannot go beyond 12-13K for the setup.

I recently got this installed in my home. I have not used my amp/receiver with them so far but yes the TV and DTH and other equipments are being used with this and gives me a good backup. You can try with them as they are professional and based on my requirement suggested this but with the tubular batteries costing more I decided to go with the flat bed batteries for the time being and will move to tubular batteries after couple of years. It costed me around 23k including a stroller to house the batteries and the inverter on top.
