Hey guys,

Anyone traveled to Singapore in recent times ?

I heard that you can apply online for the visa without needing to send the passport / form etc to the Chennai office. E-Visa or something like that.... Can someone who has applied like this confirm the procedure?

Many thanks..

Visa on Arrival is not available for Indian citizens as far as I know.

My wife traveled to Singapore last month and applied for a visa thru our travel agent. In fact we had to have a confirmed return ticket booked for the visa application. However the application process is fairly straight forward and you can get you visa in 5-7 days.

+1 to that. Apparently, Singapore have some approved Agents who are authorised to take application and get it processed. On the Singapore Consulate,
you should get the details of the authorised Agents.

Usually I would send the passport to the travel agent to get the visa stamped. It takes just two working days in Chennai to get the tourist visa. Sometimes I received it on the next day itself.
