Some insights from a Audio reviewer

I am convinced more and more that measurements don't mean a damn thing. The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

If it sounds good but measures poorly, something is wrong with the measurements or the wrong unnecessary things are being measured.

I couldn't care a rat's rear that a component with opamps has 120 dB SNR while a component with tubes has 80 dB SNR. I will almost always choose the latter.

audio design is 50% engineering and 50% art as power Mark Levinson has been known to have said .You do first need to get the first 50% right but after that it is the art which makes the difference

Do check the quote in my Signature :D "If it measures good and sounds bad, it is bad.If it sounds good and measures bad, you've measured the wrong thing"
