I was pleasantly surprised to see some very good value for money books which were on my wish list for many moons. I promptly ordered the first two, and then succumbed to temptation and added one more:

For those who dont know, Atul Gawande is an exceptionally gifted physician and writer living in the US and has been very well reviewed for his writings. He is a graduate of Stanford and Harvard Medical School and a Rhodes Scholar.

I was in SF a coupe of months ago just around the time that the Louis Vuitton Trophy to select the challenger to Ellison's yacht was being selected. This years series is the longest, with the NZ team far ahead of the US team(Oracle), which then mounted an improbable rear guard action and has almost drawn level.
