Whether this model (OR all LCD by Sony) are in short supply from company?
I am not able to get above mentioned model in Solapur from dealer.

Yeah, one Sony World guy in Bangalore told me that Sony is stopping production of this model, and it's replacement is the Direct LED model they launched sometime back.

No difference between both ( I guess both use IPS panels ? )

Just get whichever is cheaper.

Usually EDGE led is better compared to Direct LED without Local Dimming.

Also since EX330 is a newer model, there are no reviews of it. I did see it in Croma and it seems like a decent set.

Demo both and pick whichever you like more, the Panasonic set is also quite good. And since the difference between the two is just 2k, give preference to Panasonic one.
