SONY 40 EX 710 honest dealer

I am in the market for an LED TV and Got this offer from a dealer in Hubli. 40EX710 for 65000/-. On asking he clearly told that it is a display piece. As per him and other inputs from the fourm 710 production has been stopped. I can not go and check out the piece as he is not having it in his shop. Is it advisable or do I have to wait for EX620 to launch. I am guessing that it will be in the same price region.
