Sony KDL-50R550A audio format not supported

Hi All,

I have this TV : Sony KDL-50R550A

some .mkv files with no problem, but some .mkv files play audio but no audio.

message displayed: "Audio format is not supported"

these files are AC3, DTS 5.1

please advice the solution.

Your TV does not support DTS and hence the error message. You can convert the movie to DD audio using a tool like PopCorn MKV AudioConverter 1.87.73 - VideoHelp.com Downloads or better buy a media player that supports all these formats.
