Sony mu teki ht m5 connection with samsung led tv with no arc

Its my ist avr and i just cant connect my tv audio to avr and the sound quality is also not that impressive need suggestions asap

My tv has 2 output the component with g b r ie y pb pr and r l for audio and another r l and a video jack for av and it has 4 hdmi one optical audio digital out and as for avr it has arc for hdmi which my tv does not support it has component for game bd/dvd and moniter out it has five l r audio in port for cd tv portable sat/tv ,3 digital out 2 optical digital for game in and sat tv and 1 coaxail for dvd and please do tell how to improve the sound quality i need dts from tv and my dvd in my avr. When i play music from my usb thru avr i can not get clarity on my speakers

Connect optical out of TV to the AVR. DTS is possible only if your TV supports DTS movie files.
