Dear members,

need help regarding my upcoming purchase. Want something around 40 - 42 inches.
Viewing distance will be 5.5 feet to 9 feet.
Watched a demo of samsung h5500 40 inch and sony w700 42 inch yesterday. both for around 60 grands. Sony sound was much better than samsung but, pq i thought samsung was sharper, and contrast better (maybe because brightness was less)
Have a sony brand fancy.
We have 46" EX520 and that has amazing PQ, I though the w700 is not as good as ex520.
I also want a tv which supports mkv/avi with aac audio, and x264/xvid codec. My sony ex520 always has problems with downloaded movies due to some reason or the other, sometimes is the aac sometimes the mkv, sometimes x264. So its almost impossible to play movies on it. Also, the DLNA of that tv does not work ever! Tried Serviio and others, no luck. Want a SMART TV that can easily connect to my home pc for streaming stuff.
So what will you guys suggest? Budget is flexible, but I don't know how some brands like pana, toshiba, philips have 40 inch full hd led around 35 K I definitely want to spend somewhere that point provided:
PQ is good, sound is very nice, has some smarttv features, and mostly NO MOTION BLUR! i hate that and can't live with that! Also, don't mind getting a FULL HD plasma if there is any! Need suggestions.

Thanks a lot.

Hi
I don't mind paying the price difference if the excess is worth it.
If the pq is marginally better than I'd rather save some. Like somewhere if I can save around 25 grand then it does make sense.

Thanks
