Sony STR DH810

Hi Folks

Does any have any feedback on the Sony STRDH810, I am seeing it in the US at many stores and also seeing being sold on amazon.com at 220 US $. For a 7.1 that seems to be a knock out price when I compare it to either Denon 1611, or Onkyo 508. Also there is a DH710 from Sony.

Any help with the feedback on Sony will be good.

I am looking for entry level 7.1 receiver.

Yup... Sony STR-DH810 at 220$ is a knock out price...As I know it had good reviews from all the websites with a very few CONs ... U can also have a look at Sony STRDN1010 as well if u r greedy for a few goodies like 3D capability ... They were priced quite close ...

DENON and ONKYO are legends for the great sound and build quality in receiver section ... but believe me in this price range SONY STRDH810 will stand out if you think about VFM .... If you go for a bit higher budget believe me Onkyo SR-608, YAMAHA RX-V667 or Pioneer VSX-920K are masters of STRDH810 ... Not so much into Denon...so no idea

Thanks for your inputs, however, I have put the Receiver and Speakers on the back burner due to some personal reasons. But, yes, I did pick up a WD Live Plus in US at ~100$
