Hi All,
I own a 2017 Sony STR DN 1070 bought from USA and it has been a stable component for me all these years. Since the last few month i have been a intermittent user due to shifting of base locations and i haven't used the home theater setup. It is paired with a Benq HT1070 projector.
I am facing a peculiar problem from the HDMI inputs/output where in any HDMI I plug in i am not able to get output for the same. The video shows black menu screen and nothing else. I have connected with the Sony team in Delhi but they dont have any answer to this problem. I have been able to connect with Kalamji in CR park even he is unable to figure out the issue.
I am not able to see the menu items also so that i can do a full software reset. I have tried hard reset physically but to no avail. I am attaching pics of the screen when an HDMI is given an input. I have changed the HDMI inputs from a laptop to a fire stick to a mi box but nothing works. Bluetooth is working fine and i guess even the optical is working fine. the resolution suggested somewhere in other forums is a reset of the firmware but i am unable to do that because i am unable to access menus due to non visibility.
