Sony's Extended warranty

If i purchase sony 32ex650 from flipkart, and after 1 year of purchase, can i purchase the 2 year extended warranty seperately from any sony authorised showroom.

Do u mean to say authorised dealer means only sony world.

I mean from a shop which is a authorized dealer..like reliance digital...here in kolkata we have capital electronics, great eastern which are authorized dealer of sony. Ur warranty might be denied if the purchase is not from authorized dealer..

It is a new model(2012)..so I guess u won't get any discount..but do visit sony india website to know about the current price.

IMO, you are likely to get better deal than flipkart for Sony TV from dealer (atleast in Blr). I bought my 40" EX520 for 60k during Oct 2011. That time the best offer was 62k to 63k while the general offer was 64k while MRP was 68k. At that time I remember flipkart was selling around 63k.
So I recommend you to shop around first before purchasing online. I think currently flipkart will be the best option to buy TV online in India because of their excellent customer support. However, in case of TVs where installation (wallmount and initial setup like timezone etc) is required, you may have to follow up with Sony.

I dont think you can get better offer from sony world but give it a try.

Warranty: Limited Extended Warranty is refereed as extended warranty. I remember that the extended warranty does not cover everything (correct me if I am wrong) that is covered as part of 1st year warranty. For example, extended warranty is applicable for residential use of TV and not for business/commercial use. You have to make a decision whether shelling out 3k-5k is worth it.
You have to purchase extended warranty within expiry of 1st year warranty. After the purchase you can buy extended warranty from any of the the sony authorized service centers. Alternatively you can buy extended warranty during purchase of the TV, but I believe that can be done only by sony authorized centers.

Hi Bro, no need to worry, you will get the extended warranty, flipkart is also a geniune seller. You need to call sony center and avail the warranty. hyeah:

If flipkart is not delivering a particluar product to bangalore and if we give them a request(through email) to ship the product to bangalore. Will flipkart do it.

Flipkart is based out of Bl and if they are not able to ship a product within city means it may not be possible. you can check with their customer support.

Just contact they will ship it to you if your pin comes within their courier range.
