Do you get soundbars with multiple audio inputs ? I mean a mix of digital and analogue ? If so, how do you switch between them ? Do these spound bars come with a remote through which one can switch inputs ?

Which is a good one to pick up ? I am talking about the active ones with built in amps. This is for the office.

My next purchase is Harmony Sound stage from eBay.in I hope members will give valuable advice on this gadget, pasting of link not executing on my IPhone, so kindly explore. Thanks

I Love Tapatalk on my IPhone

Yamaha YHTS-400 soundbar has multiple inputs with a subwoofer-receiver with a remote to switch sources.. its highly rated. Only few pieces available in market as Yamaha is soon introducing a next version here in India.

I just checked with a yamaha dealer. He said the soundbars start at 70k. This is the YSP 3000. Are there good sound bars available @ cheaper rates ( around 25k) ? I am talking about the single piece ones with digital inputs. Not the ones with seperate subs.

Most of the soundbars come with a separate sub
But almost all now have wireless subs, so you can hide the sub out of the way if you want

For your budget, try the Boston Acoustics Tvee26 (26k) or the Polk Surroundbar 3000 (30k)
If you can increase your budget, then the Klipsch HD Theater SB3 or the Polk Soundbar 6000. All of them can switch between 2 inputs (some have 3 inputs) - mix of digital and analog

In my opinion, a spend of more than 5K over a soundbar (multiple inputs or not) is a waste of precious booty. Buy an entry level HTiB instead worth 15K.

I have a YSP-800. Comes with 3 digital ins and 1 analog out...has a sub out...It's an old model so no HDMI capabilities...

Soundbars are good if you have space constraints...also their performance is hugely dependent on the room placement...
