Speaker set up

Hi FM's
I have setup with denon avr X1400 H and pioneer AJ 5.0.Dont have sub as of now.will purchase later.need help in speaker config . when i select front speaker(towers) as small it wont allow it automatically comes as large when i set sub to NO(as i dont have sub).is there any way to select front as small as i seen reveiws as making it small improves sound.

Configuring front as small means you are not passing below 100hz to them which usually goes to the sub. Doesn't make sense unless you have a subwoofer, I personally prefer to use FS as large even if there is a sub.
