SR 6006 not working

My MARRANTZ 6006 was working fine , but yesterday suddnely it stopped working. Now whenever i try to start it, it gets start but within 2 second it gets off, and orange light start blinking.

Plz help me out

it is getting into protection mode.

disconnect all wires, inputs and output and then try.

If it's still same, I suggest seek help from authorized service center.

This is very annoying on a weekend...

Have you tried leaving it unplugging from the mains for several minutes? If not, remove mains plug, disconnect all the speakers and inputs etc. to see if it is a blown speaker or a short circuited cable that is the cause... with only the power supply on and it is still the same, it has obviously developed a fault. :sad:

On my 6004 the master reset is achieved by pressing the menu and enter buttons together. If this still doesn't do the trick, It would appear the overheating protection wasn't quick enough to prevent some kind of damage and repair is necessary.

I hv tried as per ur instructions, but it dosnt work.
Now what to do

I done a few searches there and the sensing circuit faults keep cropping up for this type of description.

As frend says, back to the service center. However, i don't think it necessarily be where you brought it from, as long as they are an authorized dealer they could help you... if they are closer to you that is.

Remove all the connection to avr and wait for 2 days and It will work and check all ur cables for any damage
If it is still persisting you need to contact autherized service for marantz india MZ AUDIO
Before sending to the service check that any voltage fluctuations are there
Mine SR5008 gone into protection mode after 3wonderful months. I mean it is superb for stereo also
